Seniors Hub Dwarka (SHD), a registered NGO for the seniors, felicitated its members who attained 75 Plus in a specially organised Function on 25th October 2025. These lucky members were felicitated by members of SHD.
The celebration started with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony to invite divine blessings and ensure that no bad deeds take place on the occasion. The purity associated with the Diya is believed to keep everyone attending the ceremony safe and healthy. Lamp lighting was done by EC members of SHD and MAX Hospital team consisting of Doctor and other senior team members.
Shri R.K. Jain, President, Seniors Hub Dwarka, briefly explained the spirit behind the festivity and emphasised on the importance of togetherness which we had assembled to celebrate. He requested all ladies to always accompany their husbands so that they also get an opportunity to move out of four walls of home and enjoy better physical and emotional health.
Mr Jain then invited Smt Shashi Jain, a SHD member, to take the stage for the rest of the function.
Personal and professional profiles, as provided by them, of the Members were read out, by Smt Shashi Jain, to the august gathering of more than 100 members of SHD present as audience with special anecdotes which they cherished during the lovely journey of more than 75 years. They were also presented a Memento, specially made available for the occasion by Max Hospital engraving individual’s name in addition to special gift by SHD, to keep the event in their recollections.
The event revealed the hidden talent Dwarka, in general, and SHD in particular, has in the form of knowledge and experience of our Senior and Super Senior members. It was a treat to read through the profiles of the felicitated Members for the benefit of audience.

Shri Ravi Jaitley, General Secretary of Seniors Hub Dwarka, in his Vote of Thanks address, thanked all the members participated in large numbers despite immediately after Diwali.
He profusely thanked felicitated members and their wards who were specially invited to witness their parents being felicitated.
He further echoed sentiments that Every special moment ends, and this occasion is no exception and they will take home the memories of the time spent here and will cherish all the memories in the years to come
Special thanks were conveyed to Shashi Jain Madam, who did a great job, as always, in managing the stage and making it lively introducing each Felicitated Member to us by reading out their Profiles beautifully.
Team Max Hospital consisting of Arpita Mam, Tarun, Mansi, Virender and Dheeraj were thanked profusely. Without their support, this event would not have been possible here. Special Thanks to them for arranging lunch for all of us.
The event ended with sumptuous and delicious food served to all.
